Will Smith has one of the greatest songs of all time...Summertime

Wash your mouth out knocking will smith apart from 'Summer time" he was 50% responsible for "He's the DJ i'm the rapper" one of the great old school albums.

Jaysus, that could be the winner right there.

I remember a song from back in the day that i was going to suggest....so i tracked it down and realised it's not that bad after all....

Southern Conference - Dead Presidents - apologies for the sh*tty quality but it's the only one i could find.

I agree completely. Scary Eire were the real deal. Making true Irish hip hop without any American style posturing and that was almost 20 years ago. ****ing legends, and the likes of Mek and Ri Ra havent given up either. Mek is still lashing out unreal sets and just listen to the likes of "25 O Clock in the morning" to hear the standard of rapping that Ri Ra is at. I urge the original poster to have a proper listen to Scary Eire and your mind will be changed.

yeah that is a pretty horrible song. By Tupac standards. However anything on Channel AKA (formerly Channel U) on Sky is appaling. How they can actually allow English people to rap is beyond me

That is one of the stupidst things I have ever heard anyone anywhere say and I have heard some stupid things.

Next you'll besaying "how they let French, Brazilian, Swedish, German or Irish people rap is beyond me".

Channel U was a station designed to sell ringtones to 13 year olds. none of the artists on it got paid (not even Akala or Skinnyman).

The UK has produced a lot of world class MC's.

Akala, Skinnyman, Kano, Durrty Goodz, Kalashnikov and a sh!tload more are all as good as any mc from the states.

The Sauras and Prof. Green are better than any battlers from the states and that's accept fact.

UK hiphop is for the most part a lot more progressive than US hiphop right now.
