    Anyone know decent free software, few i have tried are either malware or just create a garbled avi.

    DVD decrypter to get files of DVD

    auto gordian knot (auto gk) to create the avi. Two extremely useful programmes

    thanks i was using autogk with Xp but have to use Windows 7 for a while and keep getting

    EXCEPTION: Range check error


    Googling reveals little about it, clean install of autogk and addons :confused:

    Dont need dvd decrypter they all homemade dvds.
