do you get a new passport number for a re newed passport..?

    Just wondering, If you were turned away from some country can you just get a new passport?

    This is not myself, just wondering what the story is..:D

    Sure. You can also change the name. And the skin colour :cool: And all quite legally.

    so a double homicide suspect can get a new passport id and name just like that..?

    I think maybe none was being sarcastic.

    As far as I know, yes you get a new passport number when you renew your passport. However, I highly doubt that this would get you in to a country where you had been turned away before. They don't just check the passport number for that. They check other details too.

    We get lots of crazy threads like this in the Aus/NZ forum. Where people want to get a passport in Irish so they can get another WHV. It was on tv here recently in a programme called border patrol where an Irish guy got sent back for trying this.

    It's unlikely you or "your friend" will get away with anything dodgy like this. The benefits are far outweighed by the risks of getting caught and how much crap you would get in to.

    Why did you post this in work and jobs anyway, btw. Do you want to go back to a country and work after being turned away? That would be even stupider to try.
