    Apologies if there's a sticky/similar thread. I'm on am O2 mobile modem & it's painfully slow.

Anyway, the Mrs had loaded lots of music onto her Zen for me. Been working grand, but switched it on today, she had been using it last so it started up with some of her music.
Was trying to change the playlist, couldn't see the screen well because of the sun, but at some point the screen went blank & no music.

Thought it was probably the battery, but had it charging for hours now, and still the damned thing won't switch on.

I'd really like to have it fixed soon, and ideally before she gets home!
I'm sure I've read somewhere that there's a reboot you can do? And if so, does it wipe the memory (playlists)? Or is there something else I can try?

This non-techno person would really appreciate any help!

Dont know what kind you have but I have the ZenV Plus and theres a tiny little hole to one side of it and if you put a pin into it & press its the reboot on my one.........good luck.

I had a similiar problem with mine, I always charged it through the PC cos it didn't come with a wall charger, problem is the PC won't charge it if it's totally flat so it needed to be charged with a wall charger

You can reset it using the pin hole on the bottom of it.
It's never wiped my tunes, but that doesn't mean it won't wipe yours.:(

Has happened to my Zen Vision:m a couple of times. Just left it charging for a very long time and eventually it came back to life.

Thanks to all who replied :)

Found the reset button & it worked grand, with no loss of tunes.

By the way, we bought a mains charger for it a while ago. It takes twice as long as the usb charger!

    thanks again folks
