Failed NCT

    Hi everyone
Changed my car (Renault Clio 1.2 year 1999) for an 05 Seat Cordoba in January just gone. Car in wonderful condition - one lady owner and very little milage. Got car serviced by the dealer and everything ok. He said it would pass the NCT with flying colours. Not the case - failed on dipped beam on the drivers side - too high. So now I am wondering should I just bring it back to the dealer and get him to repair or just wait and bring it back for another test and see what happens.

What do you guys think? I have heard so many stories of this happening.

Its a simple job, the garage should adjust it for free. Nothing to worry about

no big deal here, its only a 5 min job.
worst case is headlamp could be broken inside. Theres no 2 way about it , either it's too high or it isnt.
garage prob won't charge, why take the risk

Agree with the others. Its a simple 5/10 minute fix. The garage should do it for free.

It has to be done, so get it done!

BTW, there is no such thing as a certainty to pass the NCT. I learned that the hard way.
