If you get in real early and are prepared to wait it out then get to City Hall early and climb up on to the top step. You will have the advantage of the height with great views looking down Dame St and won't have any heads in front of you. You will have to get there early!!!!

Another good spot is outside The Phillips Shop at the junction of Dame St and George's st. get yourself in to the corner of the barriers. You won't have any heads infront of you as the street will be kept clear, though you may have afew Gardai's heads to deal with :)
