I have to go on hols in July due to work commitments so was wondering where would have the best weather around this time? We want to go somewhere quite far away, as in not your average package holiday in Europe. We were thinking Thailand but I'm worried about it being rainy season. What's the Dominican Republic like that time of year?

    Thanks :)

I get my travel ideas from watching Sky travel at the moment. Book with them in £ sterling and make a killing/saving. The agent on the phone can actually book you connecting flight from Ireland as well at the same cheap rates as you would see on the airlines website and through-check your bags.

I booked this recently for both parents on both sides to separate countries and it worked a treat.

You will drool over some of the locations and resorts.

    define best weather??

if you mean the hottest, then there is no hotter place on planet earth in july than the mohave desert in western usa, the hottest place in the mohave itself is death valley which averages 47 degrees in july, it hit 54.0° C there in july 2005, phoenix biggest city in that area averages a little cooler it averages only 42.0° C in july and its highest temperature was a mere 50.0° C in 1990 ;)

Dubai would be in the 40s and it's certainly not your average package holiday.

Hmmm, I was thinking of more in the 30s:p A nice hot beach, nice hotel and as little rain as possible.
