Is anybody having problems inputting delivery addresses to ebay. Iv been using random numbers and letters instead of a postcode for years with no problems but I tried to buy something today and its saying the the postcode is invalid. What are people using as postcodes?

Use the word "default" and you'll have no problem

A simple 0 usually works too or 1 for example if your post code is Dublin 1.

Strange that although so many are having similar problems the solutions are quite various. What's up with that!
I tried everything from blank on withouth success until a single 'x' did the trick (I am in Co Clare).
So wish An Post would get on with the very necessary business of modernising the service by introducing postcodes. Would help so much with mapping too
