Going to play dundrum this weekend and was wondering if anyone here has played it. Also its a amam style competition and i was wondering if anyone has an idea what the leading scores are?

Played it last year. Nice track but longish on some of the par 4s (and very long overall off the back stakes). The 18th is a big par 4 that even the big hitter will be playing low irons into.

No idea on the scoring side

card doesnt read to long (not that i am a big hitter) and i reckon it wont be back tees anyway. is there many holes crossing over each other cause it looks that way on the card

No holes cross over each other.

Be careful of water short of green on 7th and 9th holes.

Water on 7th is just short of the green. It is a par 5 so make sure if you are going for it you have plenty to clear.

Water on 9th is about 30 odd yards short of green. The hole is 470 yards so again be careful on your approach into the green. Make sure you carry the water.

Now the 10th hole. In my own opinion a stpuid hole. There are three trees down the middle of fairway. You have 2 options. Go left of the trees the safer route but make the hole longer. Or go right of the trees making it a much easier second shot but the tee shot is way tighter down the right. You miss the fairway to the right and you are in water so be careful.

There is water short of 17th but a short enough hole so should be no issue and that is the same as the fifth, but water on fifth is right up against green so good second shot needed. On fifth hole you don't want to be closer than 100 yards in so hit it about 200 yards of the tee. Giving you a better approach into the fifth green. You will be on the flat. Hit it any further and you will be on a down slope.

Rest of the holes pretty straight forward.
    Hope it helps.
    Didn't mean to scare you:eek:
