    Hi,
I have a 2002 Punto, basic model. It has the standard blaupunkt Radio/Tape system. Anyone know the model of this unit that came as standard? Want to find an instruction manual for it

    thanks

    P

Blaupunkt Grenoble and Lausanne models were both used on models from 1999, that was a CD unit though. I get the feeling they went with an in-built tape unit on the facelifted models?
Is it not written on the front?

What do you need to know? those units are very straight forward.

    Is it this:

    or this:

The tape unit in a Mk2 Punto was generally the Blaupunkt Dublin. Very rare to get a tape unit in Ireland, however (ironically).

I think this was only in the Mk1 Punto, AFAIK pretty much all of the new models had CD player as standard at launch in 99, then they pulled some of the spec when they got the facelifted lights, and more safety stuff.

Yeah, the Mk2 in Ireland in 99% of cases came with a CD player and electric windows. However there are some VERY low spec examples about (families spare car back home in Donegal is an 01 reg 3 door) that shipped with a tape deck in a standard DIN fascia. And windy windows...

I've no idea about the spec on the Mk2b, it only lasted a short enough time on sale here and shifted bog all so I've never actually been inside one!
