So anyway, me mam got three stars off a Winning Streak ticket. Now then, she's been told to post it to National Lottery from Offaly or Laois. People are saying that the draw drum is skewed toward tickets from outside Dublin, to better represent the entire island.

    Is this true?

Is the draw drum loaded in favour of culchies? Or is this just a load of bull****?

Actually, my ma got 3 stars one time. We're in Donegal, would have been a cert to win it.

She didn't send it in though, didnt fancy being on tv and couldnt find anyone that did.

Yes this is true, sort of. The draw administrators found that, on average, 3/4's of the tickets drawn came from outside Dublin so in order to solve this imbalanace the Government set in motion a plan to ensure that 3/4's of the population of Ireland live outside Dublin.
