MIDI effects in Cubase

    Hi guys,

I put together MIDI files in Cubase, but when I apply control change effects 91 and 93 (chorus and reverb) they dont work within cubase. They only work when I export them to MIDI and play them using a separate player.

Is there anyway that I can get it to kick in in Cubase ? Or any suggestion for a workaround.

    tks.

Are you using VST instruments or external hardware?

    sorry should have mentioned this..

I am using a Creative Audigy 2 (sb0240) card, replacing the default soundfont bank with the SGM v2.1 (free) soundfont bank. I am not using any VST Instruments and no extra hardware.

Ok well you'll probably have to record the sound to an audio track and then apply the effects.
