Ever been saved by smoke alarm?

    Last night smoke came out of a socket in the hallway and set it off.... Wet plugs or something.

    Was it late when it went off? I always take the batteries out of mine before going to bed. I work early and don't want the stupid thing waking me up.

    Yup... Was late getting up one morning and the smoke alarm went off cos my mum was cooking downstairs... Saved my arse! and as i got up the food was cooked:p Perfect!

    those plug in air freshners are lethal, plug them in and all is rosie then they run out you forget about them, they melt in the socket and next thing you're stinking the place out

    is that true? surely they wouldnt be allowed on the market if they were such a fire/lethal fume hazard?!

    Considering that we do live in the age of freely available internet pornography I can understand that being penetrated in 3 orifices simultaneously can cause one to get rather wet.
