I was in Gamestop today and saw a trade in offer for e70 trade in on any lite or previous model. Sounds good, The new model has all the bells & whistles including camera, wifi, net browsing etc. I am curious to know will it play back up copies of your games on R4?

Won't work with any of the older cards, there are newer ones available tho!

Nah, i doubt it will work with any cards like the r4. But give it a few months and someone will probably have cracked it and bring out a new card

When they start selling DSiware won't Nintendo reblock all the whatever cards and people will have to start playing the downgrade game?

Yeah, i was just thinking that myself. You'll probably have to update the DS from time to time, and it'll probably detect one of those carts so you cant use it

It all depends on the exploit used by the cards.
There is a danger, for nintendo, that blocking the function of the R4i or similar card will block legitimate games from working too, so they may live it be.
Also there is nothing to indicate that the DSi can have it's firmware updated at all, is there?

Going by the upgrade of the security in Wii from Gamecude was to change the password from lowercase to uppercase I'd say there will be a DSi computable card very soon after the launch.
