Was always wanting to buy a pair myself, i see you can buy them on amazon or ebay.

I got it done a few times at the hairdressers, but it depends on who i go to, sometimes when i ask certain hairdressers to use them, they say no.

I suppose it would be best to just go to your hairdressers and get it done professionally, but if you really want to do it yourself, then what i would suggest is..

if you have a parting, pull all of you hair around this parting (all your t zone) up and dont touch that with the thinning sissors.
Use it on the underpart of your hair, so when you leave your hair down, you wont see any uneven bits from thinning it.

Dont go too close to your scalp either, i'd go almost half down your hair lenght and just gather a bit of hair and cut into it in two or three different places heading towards the ends of your hair....
do this a few times around your head..each at the same areas..

    Does that make sense?

yeah that makes sense! have got it done lots of times in hairdressers and it's always great to get so much of the extra weight from my hair taken off. they start on amazon at around £20 so may as well give it a go. there is another place called Sally's that sell hair dressing supplies, may see if they have any. Thanks for the advice!
