Nokia 3110 "Camera on standby"

    Hi all

    I have a Nokia 3110 with a 1GB Micro SD card inserted.

    When I go to take a picture with the phone, the message
    "Camera on standby" comes up. I can't save the picture
    even though I have loads of free space on the memory card.

    So I can't take pictures, which is a pain.


    Has anyone else found a workaround for this problem?

    Have you set the camera to save the picture to the card and not the phone memory? As standard the camera saves to the phone memory even if a card is inserted.

    In the settings menu in the camera you should see:
    'Memory in use' beside it will phone memory or card [Noname] often appears if you haven't given the card a name.
