Bug-eyed sprinting sensation Dwain Chambers is working with Victor Conte again.

In other news, Bonoo tells Irelands unemployed that they should give 50% of their dole to his pet charities, while unveiling plans to build a gold statue of himself atop the tower in Glendalough. Fashioned by Chinese child labourers. Who will be brought over by Irish Ferries.

It's like a bad joke. If anyone is interested in learning more about Victor Conte, I'd highly recommend the book Game of Shadows by Mark Fainaru-Wada and Lance Williams. For Chambers to be associating with him again stinks in my opinion and tarnishes the sport we all love.

I was going to start a Chambers thread but i held off as my views on him would get me banned probably.

The situation is everything that is wrong with our sport summed up in one person.

To be fair, I can fully understand the mods position; no-one wants unsubstantiated allegations of foul play thrown around. But Chambers is very different. He's a known drug cheat who is now back working with the kingpin of tainted athletes. That he can do so brazenly, and still get to edge out clean athletes from the semi finals of the 60m indoors, and still get invites to Berlin meets, and still get gold medals and plaudits for fast times: is frankly galling, and is very removed from the spirit of achievement that all athletes feel when they do their best and run a good race.

Lifetime bans for drug cheats is the only way to go.

Absolutely. It is likely that he is still getting the benefit from his drug cheating days.
