I am a 22 year old male virgin in my second year in college, but im one with a difference, ive never kissed a girl! its not that ive never had a chance to kiss a girl its just that every time i find myself in a situation with a girl i panic and do everything in my power to make sure it doesnt happen. im quiet a sociable guy, i go out a lot and enjoy the whole social aspect of college. im a non drinker and all my friends love me for the fact that i can go out and have a good time and be the life and soul of a party. i have a few female friends and they have told me that i should have no problem finding a girlfriend. none of my friends know that i have never been kissed but id say one or two of them may have an idea as they never see me trying to 'pull' a girl on a night out. the only girls that iv been close to 'kissing' have been girls that iv known for a while. its really bothering me that if a girl is coming on to me that im always too afraid to anything about it. if anyone has any help in helping me to overcome my problem i would appreciate it.

You need to relax. Its a kiss not a job interview. She isn't going to ask for your work history and run a background check. Just play it cool as if you had kissed someone before and don't give it any thought. She won't. And as Kirnsy well points out below, its instinct - pretty hard to fcuk up.

kissing is something that comes naturally to people so dont sweat it of you are worried bout screwing up the technique etc.... THERE IS NONE ... as Overheal mentioned you just need to relax and go with the flow...

itl be as easy as pie once you go for it. :) good luck

hi op, the best advice i could give to you would be to stop looking at this as a problem. Its just an inevitable experience which has not happened yet but it will happen. If you keep thinking of it as a problem you will just get too worked up the next time you are in a position to kiss someone, which by the sounds of things is whats happening. When you go out just enjoy yourself, if somethings happens it happens, if it doesn't then it doesn't. Dont be worrying about it.

And if the situation does arise just go for it, she wont know anymore than you tell her, so if you dont make a big deal out it, she wont either.

i'd say talk to one of your closer female friends about it* - they will talk it through with you and might help you when you're out on a night out - encourage you to go for it, help find a girl for a bit of fun for you!!

*realise that you will immediately be into the friend zone with this girl, so dont lead with this with a girl you have a crush on

You said your a non drinker, would you consider taking a drink to help your nerves?

Just go for it,find a girl who is drunk. If your sober you have the upper hand anyway, you should get at least 1 in 2 if sober, you have the upper hand.

Hey man, I was in a remarkably similar situation as you until a few months ago. I ended up kissing a girl I recently met, and was so nervous it was unbeliavable. But you know what, those nerves were gone within 30 seconds, and we've been together a number of times since then. So don't worry about it. I used to over think it as well but it is completly unnecessary. Just go for it!

    >_> classy. not that theres anything wrong with 2 consenting drunk people hitting it off but knowingly doing that sounds unethical.

I'm a non drinker too and I always amazed that when you say so, everyone is quick to tell you that all your problems are solved by having a drink. (EDIT: having said that- who's hanging round here on a Sat night at ten to twelve lol)

OP, going out on a limb here but I don't suppose you have any close female confiants that you could ask for a little help??

The minute it starts all your fears will melt away just go with the flow. As overheal says it aint a job interview and she won'y know its your first time. Hopefully the first of many!
    Good luck x

Once you have your first kiss you'll forget that you even stressed about it! It's something everyone does naturally and it's great fun. I doubt any girl would notice it's your first time unless you came out and said it to her. Have fun! :)

Man, even if your screw it up, who cares? Even if it went terribly, terribly wrong, (which is HIGHLY unlikely) life would go on, and you'd live to kiss another day.

Very experienced people also have lousy first kisses because they'e out of sync. Anyone you're with won't assume that you're a virgin because you're not the best kisser straight away...
