    Hello All,
    What a great wealth of info available, i would appreciate some help with my automatic 1.2 nissan micra, it has only done 7960 miles, its due for its 2nd warranty in may,for the past 2 weeks it started to judder when i turn the ignition on,and also when i am moving slowly ie in traffic..not sure what it would be and really hope when i take it into the garage it will be coveredby the warranty...really hope someone can help me..many thanks for reading this post....:o

    I'd be getting it to your garage post-haste seeing as it's still under warranty. The newer (K12?) Micras use the standard autobox instead of a CVT.

    Doesnt sound like its a problem with the gearbox, it just seems to be ticking over too low. Straight to the garage while its still under warranty.

    You're probably right, I just associated 'judder' with Opel's infamous 'clutch judder' problem!

    2nd warranty i'm presuming its second service. Also presuming its an 07 in that case. Dealer asap to be honest. From experience nissan dealers will accomodate you no probs. Where are you situated? Dont let it go on as it could do other damage. They really should've kept those cvt's...there'll be so many distraught grandma's;-)
