    Hi guys. can use tell me. ur cctv on board facing outward the fron tof the bus how long does the tape last for people to get copies. ie is it recored over every week or what

    From DB a few weeks ago:
    Normally held for two days. In the case of accidents involving our own vehicles or a request from the Gardai, data can be saved and stored.

    In order for CCTV to be pulled from a bus you need to report an incident (ideally)within 24 hours to the depot so the CCTV can be retrieved but giving the detail of the bus, route and the time of the incident really helps. Its only on board for 3 days max and then is gone.

    Most buses upto 5/6 days, the modern EV with the extra camera brings the memory down to 4 days.
