    Have to say thats one of the best lists of events I've seen in a long time. Really hope you get the numbers. Try to get some site to sponsor this and do packages to the events, hopefully some French online site.

    Best thing about this, its walking distance for me....

    We can handle up to 300 players so no worries there....Each of the structures are designed with 150 players in mind....I think that's all we are aiming for here, but if we get more we will be delighted with it.

    If you advertise locally I think you could get massive numbers, chips, pubs etc. There's a lot of local games in this area and some very good pub games, so a bigger event should attract them.

    This looks great, will definitely try to make it. One q, is there a convenient way to get to Blanchardstown from the city centre for non-drivers? I still have nightmares about the last time I went there on public transport, 2.5 hours on busses from UCD, I vowed never again....

Its their first big event in this area and I can already see the amount of preparation they are putting in to meet player's needs....They have a poker rate set at €100 B&B for a twin room too.

    Got three emails back from overseas players almost immediately after sending out bulk emails today.....There will be a few groups of players travelling from the Isle of Man and France (and from lots of other countries too once we get the word out there).....

    Cheers for all the support so far guys&girls and obviously we are delighted that this tournament now an Irish Ranking Event. We are going to try to get it European ranking status too.

    Thanks,

    Thanks,

    Whichever you prefer, we will have some of the overseas players pre-registering to guarantee a seat but this is a cash festival.....Players can leave a deposit (of the reg fee) or pay in full in advance for whatever particular tournament they want....If anyone on here wants the Poker Ireland bank account details (for an online transfer) just send me a quick PM.

    Cheers John, I really wasn't expecting anywhere near this much positive feedback on it...Bohsman just suggested I put a tournament on over the bank holiday so I just threw these structures together really.

    I'm going to have to have a look at the numbers pre-registering in about two/ three weeks time.

    If the numbers go over the 200 mark for the main event it will almost certainly become a three day event. With the amount of emails I am getting from French players already this is looking fairly likely but I will post up full details as soon as possible.

    Stephen.

    Any plans for satellites to the €340 game? Cheers.

    We will be getting satellites organised very soon.

    Keep the registrations coming players.....All players do have the option to pay with cash on the day but once we reach 300 players in the main event that is it, we are full (i.e. no reserve list).

    If you want to guarantee your seat you can simply pay the €40 to guarantee your place in the tournament.

    Cheers,
    Stephen.

    I'm going to try to promote the JP Masters as much as possible alongside this festival....I think it will have a big appeal for overseas players to come along for a week to Dublin and get to play in a number of really great structured tournaments (obviously JP's has a better structure than this one, but hey :) ).

    Cheers,
    Stephen.

    Little bit of a bumpage;

    Looks like we have a big group of Dutch players travelling over for the tournament.

    Please book your seats early players. We already have 15 seats paid in full (reg fee).

    Start-time is listed there for all three events Rasta, alongside the blinds and levels. I think the Monday is a 1pm start for the €100 buy-in event.

    Yeah cheers Dom;

    Event 2 is 3pm on 3rd May
    Event 3 is 1pm on 4th May.

    I think its in there in the blind structure but if you can add it in that would be great.

    Just want to bump this thread back to top of the page....Still getting lots of registrations from overseas players.

    At this stage I am estimating a minimum of 150 players for the main event.

    Flyers are going out to our database tomorrow and Tuesday this week. If you want a few flyers sent out just send me a quick email; stephen(at)pokerireland.ie

    Cheers,

    Hi all,

    I really want to start to pimp this thread up a bit now....We have players confirmed from the Netherlands and France (pre-paid etc) but I don't think we are going to hit the 300 player mark for any of the tournaments (so no need to pre-pay the reg fee really).

    If you are at the Irish Open and it crosses your mind to mention that pokerireland.ie are running this festival on the May Bank Holiday it would be greatly appreciated. I got a really good response from players at my table last night in the S.E. (even though I'm not supposed to be promoting any other tournaments in there :) )....

    I will be in the Citywest before the Super-satellite (not playing as I've already done my brains trying to qualify for the IO) so if you have any questions about this festival or the IPO in October (to be announced officially very soon) feel free to ask.

    Cheers,
    Stephen.

    When are the Dublin Poker Nights Satts for these games again? The thread has disappeared. Plus if there's other Satts taking place can you post them up here please?

    Not flush enough to buy-in directly but will play a Satt or two for sure... ;)

    Hi Mark,

    There is no guarantee but it is looking like at the very least there will be 150 players, so prize-pool of €45,000 for the main event.

    We can cater for up to 300 and I should have a better idea of numbers after the Irish Open this weekend.

    Stephen.

    How's this going? Expecting many for Mondays €100 f/o? I'll be adding value. 1pm correct?

    Going great, I'm getting great feedback about the tournament everywhere I go (I had no idea it would be this well received with so many other tournaments on :) )....

    1pm for the Monday, yes indeed.....Looking like at least 150 players for the main event so I would think we will get similar numbers or more for each of the other two tournaments.

    Stephen.

    Satellites are now up in the Titan poker lobby.

    Entry costs $46 +$4 registration.

    Please note that you must use the bonus code "MAYTRIPLE" when signing up or you will not be able to play in these satellites.

    Paysafecard are putting together a promotion whereby you can buy-in to the main event directly through Titan poker for just €325 if you use Paysafecard (normal buy-in costs €340)...
    You just need to download Titan poker, use our bonus code MAYTRIPLE and then deposit onto Titan using Paysafecard (saves you €15 off the price of registration :) )

    Thanks,
    Stephen.

    3. Register for the online satellite located in the Titan lobby.
    4. Email stephen@pokerireland.ie if you have any problems at all. If you don't click on our link and use our bonus code you can't register for the satellite.

    Just to add;

    We are going to be running lots of STT satellites for the JP Masters during the May Bank Holiday Weekend. 75 yoyo plus reg fee, and 150 yo yo with two tickets on offer.

    If there is enough interest I will try to get a side tournament started this Sunday at the Dublin 100 too....

    Getting a good few more overseas registrations in the last few days.

    Players; please fill out a reg form on pokerireland.ie so that we can get a good grasp on the numbers to expect.

    Cheers,
    Stephen.

    Hi all,

    I'm asking for everyone that plans to take part in any of the events to fill out a registration form here;
    www.pokerireland.ie (please note that we do send out flyers to our players from time to time so leave out your address if you don't want to receive these).

    At the moment we have only 80 players pre-registered but I think a lot of players are planning to play so I am expecting a field of 200 at this point. If we're going to have more than that I need to organise more staff :)

    Many Thanks,
    Stephen.

    Any chance of rejigging breaks to coincide with the Heineken cup match? Unlikely I know, but thought I'd ask. I know a lot of people will want to watch it.

    Maybe even some big screen tvs in the playing room?
