Just about to get an ethernet cable but dont have much decent online games and just wondering: What are people playing online at the moment?


Any game but preferably a shooter:D

Not a COD fan then ehh ..Ye I agree Killzones better than COD WaW but still COD is a decent online game and includes nazi zombies..I don't have COD but always play at a mates!

Also Burnout Paridise is an awesome game and can be fun online..People tend to play Little Big Planet aswell but really only suits a per cent of people as some people I know think it is rubbish and I just feel it is OK..

Also Fifa will be taking alot of my online time as of next week when the patch is released..It is basically about what games you like, if you like fighting games then get SF4 if you like racing games go for Burnout and if you like shooters go for COD or Killzone 2 and if you like to just mess about and be creative get Little Big Planet!

cod waw is the best by a mile, killzone is not god at all. fifa or tiger woods are also good online games. just remembered graw 2 is a pretty good 1 online but not as good as cod5. what do people think of resident evil 5??? only €39.99 in xtravision.

Personal preferences but I found COD: WaW to be an absolute disaster (except nazi zombies but that only takes the game so far) but then again I havnt liked a WW2 game since COD 2 on the PC. Been sick of them ever since then. They should just be banned now.

Update with trophies and also The Ultimate Team add on will be released which seems very interesting tbh!

killzone 2 is savage. Its a good solid single player game and the online mode is awesome.

but then again its all going to get better after the 19th of this month as the 3 new multiplayer maps and 1 new zombie mode is coming out :D !!!!!

3: Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 :eek: (i know i was surprised that there are loads still playing this)

Couldn't wait for the 1st one and it kept being delayed I think then I finally got it and didn't think much of it but now looking back if I had it now I would enjoy it more.

Saw RSV 2 for like 27euro on play with the steelcase. Should pick this game up sometime. Loved one of the maps in RSV 1 think it was the only map I actually liked in the casino!

My fave online shooter is Socom: Confrontation. Have had it since november, only released in EU yesterday. If you liked the Ps2 versions, youll like it. Might not be for the COD fan though!

Killzone is the big online FPS shooter for PS3 at the moment.
I think its fantastic and play it daily, COD4 fans won't like it as its not just a straight up shooter, it very similar to TF2 IMO with different classes of soldier to be unlocked with totally different and customisable skills for each unlocked class.
As you play, if you complete certain objectives, you can get ribbons to add abilities to your soldier with primary & secondary abilities (you could be a medic who revives killed team-mates who's secondary ability is to also repair turrets)
You can just run around shooting and throwing grenades at each other if you want, but the best fun out of the game is to use each class type to its best for each game type available (body count, assassination, capture & hold, etc..)
