If you're smart about it it's safe. I actually saw 2 different guys a few years ago that I met on a website. Nothing really came of them but it was few good nights out and is always good to meet new people even if they don't end up being the love of your life.

Just always always always make sure you let a friend or family member know where you're going. My friends were real worried about me goin out with someone I'd never met and I have to say I'd prob be the same about them

I'm sure it's just as safe as meeting someone at a bar or in a club. There are dangerous people everywhere, not just on dating websites.

I've never tried it though, but I don't see anything wrong with it.

Even more so since there's an interweb between ye.

Your online dating experience would go allot better if you tried it on a dating site. AH online dating is far from safe.
