Hello to all ye good people, I am just wondering about the south of Ireland amateur champs in Lahinch. What range of handicap would we be talkin to qualify? As in, I am just wondering how low I would have to get my handicap to barely qualify? Thanks for ye're help and I wish ye well.

    Keep it country. :)

I don't think it's as low as the West. Maybe 2.0. 2 h'caps definitely got in in 2008. Gorfield will probably be able to shed more light.

I think last year was somewhere around 1.8 you could ring lahinch and find out for sure. That gets you a game on the saturday, and if you fancy a bye into 2nd rd your looking at +0.6 ish......

Yeah ... was at the south last year and was talking to someone who said the qualifying handicap was 1.
