    Hi Jamesy,

Where is your company based?? Have you tried contacting local council's and see have they any plans on opening or ungrading local parks??

Also new housing estates, contact developers and see if they would be interested in putting a few of these in the green areas of new estates?? Its a great attraction for young families when they see these...

Hi there. How about allotments. Allotment owners are always looking for wood for fencing ,staking, seating, storage etc. Look up Allotments.ie . It wouldnt do any harm to call around them and offer what you have for sale. They probably want stuff fairly cheap but it could generate a bit of cash in an emergency. And it may give you a few ideas for future projects. I know some allotments have small playgrounds for kidsto play in while their parents are busy. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Thanks all for the replies,I think people are afraid to put swingsets in local housing estates, all the norm in europe, but, unfortunately, here, they would be vandalised, awful pity,i drive around nice estates, with huge green areas, but, nothing at all for the kids to play on.

    Hi Jamesy08,

Where are you located? Do you have a website. We're moving home shortly and will enjoy a backgarden for a change. Might be in the market for some, know the boss would love some things for the kids (3, 2 and due in May).

In answer to your query as everyone says find where your difference is and go with that, is it your pricing, is it the product or do you offer something else with the product installation, find some reason. Maybe go after your potential purchaser, perhaps make an offer of one to a local school or community on the presumption they will endorse or formally thank you to the parents, or perhaps a childcare group or creche.

    Best of luck

    Michael

Do you sell your products to retailers or just the public directly? May be worth exploring the retailer route if you haven't before..

What about approaching creches, holiday home villages, hotels etc..

Have you approached the likes of garden centres who might stock some of these for you, also the play centres scattered around the country - im sure some of them have outside play areas aswell as indoor places and might consider renting or buying some of your products.

    1. Have you approached larger companies - i'm thinking of ones that offer a creche service to their employees?

    2. Other idea i have, is their a way of supplying them temporarily? Similar idea to the bouncy castle hire business. You might be able to 'link' with one or more of the many companies supplying large size products for kids parties maybe.

    3. Have you looked at the export market? Is there something you can offer that isn't already in the UK/mainland Europe?

What about aligning yourself with the landscaper, garden designer, interior architect. lots of work in the interior architecture business, at moment. lots of people making do with what they have.

also thanks to new renovation tv programs every one wants to 'bring the garden into the kitchen'. very trendy.
