    Hi Guys,

Was servicing the car today and took the oil out to the road (incase any spilt on the driveway :D) to pour into a container while I was pouring it to the funnell a freak wind blew aload of oil (3ft x 3ft poodle) on the footpath outside the house. I used some sand and a yard brush to get some of it up but there's still a bit left. Any ideas of how to shift it.

    Power washer?? Degreaser?

I never tried it but I heard Coke (the Cola variant!), does the job. I think if you mix up a bit of fairy liquid and give it a good scrub it should break it down.

Last resort, maybe WD40 or a water soluble degreaser available from a motor factor...

+1 on the neat fairy liquid. Scrub it in and leave overnight.

Just cover it with cement dust and then brush it away. There's a reason they use it at races..
