    hi all,
do you need to put in page numbers when referencing harvard style? I got an example and it doesnt mention page no.s.

    Example:

Author(s) name, initial(s). (year of publication) Title of Book or Report: Subtitle [if any], ed. [if not 1st edition], Place of Publication: Publisher.

    Hall, S. J. (2003) Basic Biomechanics, 5th ed., Boston:McGraw Hill.

    … (Hall 2003) …

    is this correct? thanks

    it depends.

If you are referencing a book then you don't really need to include page numbers.. though some reviewers might prefer that you did.

if you are referencing an article from a journal or magazine or similar publication then you do need to include the page numbers ( usually in this format Academy of Management Review, April 2004, Issue 4 Vol. 2, pp. 35-39)

hope this helps.. PM me if you want to get into the detail of it
