    Hi there,
I am looking at the option of doing a post grad course (now that I am in the process of been made redundant).

I was wondering if anybody has any experience of doing the following courses:

    http://www.ucd.ie/computationalscience/
    http://www.dcu.ie/prospective/deginfo.php?classname=MCSCS&originating_school=

I have a primary honours degree in Applied Science (Mathematics and Physics) - although I graduated 12 years ago
and have forgotton a lot of the course material since them. I have been working in IT/Software since I graduated.

I've always had an interest in Mathematics and would love to get back into that area and get a job that has a resonable
maths content (I know that’s a bit vague).

I see these courses are a chance to get the ball rolling. I have some concerns though as its been so long since I did maths.

    Any views are most welcome

    Thanks,
    Eoin.

I am doing an MSc in DCU in computer adided mechanical and manufacturing engineering and we cover Finite element analysis and Computational fluid dynamics also. I can say these area are coming more and more to the forefront for engineering companies. There is allot of great career prospects in the area and personally I have found it interesting. PM if you have questions.
