Nice group for Ireland, although its impossible to tell at this stage what the form coming in to the tournament will be.

Easy routes can cause you to fall short in the end - ask the ABs they're experts on this area

Not too disappointed with our group - we have every chance of taking Australia (with things as they stand now, obviously things could be well different in 3 years). Nice group for England there.

    Hardly easy with australia there.

Certainly wouldn't consider it easy, judging on past form, would have us favorites for another QF exit , courtesy of SA - I know its a few years away, but laws of averages etc.

hope I'm proved wrong, love to see Ireland make a semi, sometime in my life

I think its ironic that france are in their group, now they cant do everyone a favor and knock the blacks out again:pac:

Prob end up like 03... play our socks off to try and beat the aussies and then roll over and die against the french because of being knackered

Its going to be strange not having to play the Pumas in the group stage. A welcome change from previous years

Any idea where the Irish camp will be based? I'm planning on heading out that way but don't want to get stuck in Auckland which is a bit of a sh1thole truth be told....

    Oh dear!!

I see we are due to play "Americas 2" which could quite probably be the United States on September 11, 2011. That's the 10th anniversary of You Know What.

I expect lots of emotional propaganda in the run up to that one. And just imagine if we lost!!!!

There could be a Disney film, like they did for their ice hockey win over the Soviets.

I can see it all now!!!!!

    "Miracle in Mud"

But what Holywood star would they get to play their coach Eddie O'Sullivan?

Interesting seeing Wales (being Welsh) back with Fiji... hopefully we can keep the coaching team we have and all should be well on the run up... Saying that AN AWFUL lot can happen in a couple of years so I'll not say anything more... but a couple of 6 nations championships wo+uld be nice.... =)
