The 11th Hour, new music show RTE2

    Looks just like a re-hash of the last broadcast, using stock interviews etc. Still its better than no music on RTE! Fills the gap until the next other voices!
    Anyway, anyone know the tune that was at the start of the show? 'Tis buggin me, I think it's fleetwood mac, but i dunno which song. Can anyone help?!:)

    its fleetwood mac "oh well" - its the tune that opened Fanning's radio show for years.

    you're right it's exactly the same as the Last Broadcast - ie a mess that seems to be aimed at no-one in particular. What particularly annoys me is that he interviews someone (the guy from Villagers last night), talks about a particular song that they're going to play, then says "we'll hear that later, meanwhile here's U2's new video". I mean, if you're interviewing someone about their music, surely it makes sense to show some of the music during the interview, or after it, but not half an hour later in a completely different part of the show...

    cheers for that, yeah i recognised it from fannings radio show alright, i just couldn't put my finger on the name of the song!

    ...god remember the heady days of no disco?! now that was a music show! (or am i looking back thru rose tinted glasses?)
