    Hi all

Would anyone have any suggestions what options (postgraduate or otherwise, mainly postgraduate!) might be open to a holder of a 2.2 degree in honours mathematics (applied more than pure).

If this is too vague, just postgraduate options in Dublin would be appreciated

    Thanks

Apologies for taking so long to get back to you. Depending on your choice of modules on that course you might be eligible for a one year Msc in pure Maths in the unis that run that type of course. You'd definitely be accepted to DCU's course but that's not in pure maths and you would have covered most of it in your undergrad.

Msc in Financial and Industrial Maths. Or the other way around. I can never remember :D I done this course. Wouldn't recommend it. It's totally thrown together without any real thought. The research component was the only redeeming feature. But you could just do a reserach postgrad in that case. A waste of a year in my opinion.
