I have an AC30 one. It's really amazing. It's a little too twangy with my Tele bridge when playing solos even when I roll down the tone, but it's still great.

What's amazing is that it replicates the chime and the tube-like breakup so perfectly for a tiny SS amp. You'll get that kind of sound that you're not sure if it's clean or dirty or in between, that doesn't get fuzzy at all on the neck pickup. I actually like it better than the AC30 model on my Valvetronix.

If ever I want to make a direct recording without bothering to set up my amp etc. it's quite useful.

I hear Tech21 have a good amp in a pedal solution that works very well too, I might grab that at some point if it's as good as the Amplug.

I don't understand why based on this they don't make more great Solid State amps though. I love the big fat warmth of a good tube amp, but there are a lot of SS amps I like, the Amplug won't sound 100% tube like of course even though it emulates the style of drive/breakup very well, but I mostly like it the way it is. What it suffers from is being too dry, I wouldn't mind paying for a more expensive model with a DFX delay chip built in.
