Seems ok price wise - make sure it's the touring model. This has a nicer interior, air con, 4 x ew and stereo controls on the wheel. The 1.4 is slow enough though. the 1.6 petrol or diesel would be the best bet

Having driven both 1.6 and 1.4 models the amount of extra "poke" between each is tiny, i ended up going with the 1.4 model, for insurance and tax at the time. If you are after performance you need to go the the higher engine range.

But def the touring model/sport model is the one to go for however you will have trouble finding sport models over here (imo) when i was looking they all seemed to be comfort of touring models available. I don't know how much this has changed.
After nearly 3 years motoring we haven't had much trouble.

I would still much rather have a bit more poke but the other half was still on a provisional at the time.

Regardless of what car you go for do not be expecting "1st" class finish with regards the trim and interior plastics.
Other then that nice car to drive good adjustment on the steering wheel/drivers seats for the taller person!

Oh and sorry price seems ok too, is it a garage or private sale? The milage is a slightly above average i'd think but with a decent service history that shouldn't matter.

    Thanks a mil.
    Its a 1.6 petrol touring.Great motor,serviced, Beautiful.
    hopefully trouble free.

Bought from a very sound dealer after going to possibly twenty places where cars were overpriced or the dealers were shady or rude.

took me over three months to find the right car but sorted now thank god.
