Imtoo problem

Ive been using Imtoo recently to rip old documentaries i made to avi and put em on my computer or online. Ive also used it to back up some of my DVDs onto CDs again as Avi files b'cos some of them are scratched and im honestly surprised they all still play smoothley.

Imtoo seems straight forward enough (tried DVDx before but it kept crashing after about 5% of the rip) excepty it always seems to rip the DVD into several different sections, usually the movies individual chapters, therefore when i rip i end up often with several 75-100mb files instead of one avi movie file.

Can anyone tell me how to get this not to happen? or alternativley, how to put all the pieces back into one big file?

it would be much appreciated as, Im supposed to upload my dissertation documentary from a few years ago for a few people inc 1 or 2 who helped me make it but dont really wanna do so in several parts.

You need a piece of software called an avi joiner. Can't think of any off the top of my head but if you google it you'll probably find one easily enough.

Avidemux can join avi files ("append" in File menu).
