I love landscape photography and I'm a sucker for sunrises and sunsets...
These were taken with a compact kodak but I'm really interested in photography and thinking of getting myself an SLR at some stage..

Looking for some opinions, thoughts, criticisms on a couple of my shots..

Number 3 is the best - and love the balloons in the sky.

    Well done!

The first one doesn't really do anything for me, it just doesn't have anything interesting going on in it.

The second is my favourite, great shot.

The last one is nice too, but I think it's missing something, maybe if you boosted up the colours it could help it.

Having said that, I don't think I've ever taken a decent sunset so you might want to ignore everything in this post obove this sentence.

yeah, i agree with you on the first one actually. its lacking anything of interest in the foreground...

oh, i'd love a graduated or polarising filter to play around with.. I can dream

Thank you all for the comments.

Number 3 = Stockholm. Taken from a theme park on the outter rim of the city facing in towards the centre.
