    Hi,

I've been wearing contact lenses while playing football for the last few years. It has always bothered me that any time I head the ball, a contact lense in one or the other eye will pop out or just shift on my eyeball. So i'm now looking into get sports goggles or glassess instead.

I've tried a google serach for sports eyewear people and haven't had any real luck finding somewhere in south Dublin or North Wicklow.

I suppose if anyone knows of any decent places to get sport eyewear it'd be great to know.

    Thanks, Astro.

Thinking of similar. But I think the best route is to get your prescription here and use it to order glasses from somewhere else.

Found this http://www.rxsport.co.uk not used them yet.

Most opticians will be able to supply you with sport goggles. They are very easily got go in and ask them about a pair

Usually sports goggles look really ugly so every practice has one but nobody ever buys them! Addidas have a really nice range which has a prescription clip that can be inserted behind the sunnies (some models also have a clearish lens that you can interchange). These also have a sports strap. From memory if you look up addidas eyewear website you should be able to find suppliers in your area. I would suggest you look at Evil Eye explorer model. They arent cheap though
As for your cl's falling out so much it might be worth talking to your Optom or Cl Fitter as they shouldnt be giving you so much problems. You could need a fitting adjustment or a more moist lens to stop them drying out and popping out- This would be your cheapest option

What is the position re lens and frame.

I've seen a good few kids with them. Makes sense. Anything is a pain. You want something you can forget about.
