For an old car it may be possibly, i'm not sure, I know with 09 cars the way it works is you reserve your number say 09-D-12000 and then when the cars registered hits 12000 you get the plate and can display it but I am not sure if you can do this same thing on older cars. By the way the fee for a plate is €1000 notes so unless she's a Delorean or something I would drink the money instead

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.
You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

6R4 is newer than 1981... maybe they didn't reserve the big round numbers on all pre 87 years?

That said, for someone to bother importing a Metro they clearly have a purpose for it.
