I have been putting a few bets on the Paddy Power website. If I win, can I get that money from the actual bookies itself, rather than have it deposited on my card?

    And if so, how?

no any winnings will be deposited on to your card or you can request a cheque to be sent to your home address. As far as im awear boyles let you collect any winnings from there shops with photo id and if you set up a new account with them im sure they will have some sort of bonus running for the festival

So any winnings I have on the paddypower website stay on their website? That's a bit.. bleh! How long does it usually take for the deposit to go through (it's a laser card so it'd go straight into my bank)

it goes straight into ur a/c once you withdraw it but the bank then takes about 3 days to clear it.sorry misread your reply once you make a deposit to your a/c with your laser its instant when withdrawing from your a'c BACK to your laser it takes approx 3 days

I e-mailed the paddy power website just to get an official response, just to make sure :P Considering putting some small bets with Boyle sports too, but not much.

Was reasonably successful with the tips given to me on here for the Galway races so we'll see how things go.

I have an account with Boylesports but had lost the laser card I had previously used. Have gotten a new one and would like to update the website, but can't figure out how. Any ideas? And no, I wont send my details to anyone, even if they are the prince of Nigeria.

With Boylesports you can both deposit and withdraw from your account in the shop.

If you can't update the laser on the website just give the call centre a ring and someone will do it over the phone for you.

    Opr

Paddypower won't let you withdraw your money over the counter, as their internet operation is hosted in the Isle of Mann and Channell Islands (for tax reasons). Therefore they must deposit back electronically. Boyle Sports do not have off-shore betting,so therfore you can withdraw you winnings at the counter.

I have to say that there was a fantastic help service with Boyle Sports. There was someone there at 1 am to talk to me on their Live Help. They removed the old card no problem.

But they also told me that for security reasons they can only give money back in the way that it was bet, if that makes sense.

The manager in Paddy Power told me that I couldn't withdraw funds from my account in the shop as it was too awkward and too inconvenient for him.
Now how is that for customer service?
