How hard or expensive would it be to downgrade a gun from america?

The gun is considerably cheaper from america but would i have to buy a whole new gearbox or just a new part or something?

It's seems cheap but factor in shipping and tax and it's not so cheap.

Also it will have to be sub 1 joule before entering the country, cant import a hot gun.

Generally, while an AEG itself may be cheaper to purchase in the U.S. the shipping costs to get it here and then the customs and import duty you pay on it when it arrives make it much more expensive.

There's also the issue that any airsoft device over 1 Joule must be downgraded before it enters Ireland. If it is over 1 Joule at the point of importation, it is illegal.

No idea, i'd have just got a legal one even if it was a bit more, but its the same after customs etc.

The gear will ship from asia, to the us, then here? Its obviously going to be more expensive, with vat payed twice, shipping payed twice and the middle mens markups.

That and the downgrade, and the bright orange tip you'll end up with, ordering from the US is the worst idea, no offence.

Also, if there are any trades on the gun. They will be taken off, usually with a grinder, and no concern for aesthetics.
