does anyone know of any type of regular/sports underwear that has the same seamless area like on bike shorts? just for commuting to college or when i have to wear jeans on the bike?

    - You could get padded undies
    - Get a softer saddle
    - Wait for your bum area to toughen up :) ( be a man ! )

I got a couple of pairs in Decathlon in France a couple of years ago. They exist for men too, the padding isn't so big that it looks like you're wearing a nappy under your jeans. All cotton :) Nice and soft for your behind.

I am sure wiggle or CRC sell them too .

You can get underwear with a chamois in it, I got some for a fiver from Aldi last time they had the bike stuff in. I am not 100% sure if it is mens, ladies or unisex but it does the job OK :) The chamois is less pronounced, like it is in triathlon shorts. Apart from Aldi just do a search on CRC or Wiggle.

Andiamo have a good rep for the padded underwear - have never tried it though.

Caroline's right, your ass skin will toughen. (Though the blisters on the way aren't fun :( )
