Free Firewall for Vista 64 bit

    Does anybody know of a good Free Firewall for Vista 64 bit that's not Comodo? My comodo has updated itself and no longer works so I need a replacement.

    It's not 64bit, but it will work on Vista 64bit - ZoneAlarm Free

    Hmm... I always just use Windows Firewall along with my Router/Firewall hardware. Can I ask why you prefer to use a third party firewall?

    Are you sure? I saw that one but it says explicitly in the system requirements "Free ZoneAlarm Firewall is not available for Vista 64-bit"

    tbh windows firewall is the exact same as most of those other 3rd party firewalls. just that it doesnt have a fancy GUI. you just need to know how to use it

    zone alarm hasnt ever worked on x64 vista i dont think.

    Depends on how its configure/who configures it. Shouldn't be much of an issue anyway in a secure network with a hardware firewall/applicance.

    Its just a case of minimal ports open.

    For me, running a 3rd party firewall isn't worth the overhead tbh. But everyone is different.
