Posting for a mate, he's been playin 3/4 years now lookin for a second bass. He's been using an ESP LTD B-50 up till now, frets are going/have gone flat apparently so he's lookin to upgrade.

He loves the ESP he has at the moment and was thinking of this as an upgrade:

Anyone have any opinions or alternatives?

Budget is around 500 euro (I was thinking is should be more, would something like that be much of an upgrade?).

    Cheers...

Forgot to mention, thin neck and access past the 17th fret is needed. 24 frets would be ideal...

Picked up one of these for just over €200 on ebay about two weeks ago.

Hugely impressed by it!! Picked it up on a whim because it was cheap. Sounds great the EMGS are loud and clear and it has a decent preamp.

Very thin neck and great upper fret access. Schecters usually go for a steal second hand if he can find one on ebay.
