    It would make sense for RTÉ to do this. No extra bandwidth needed.

    It'd be nice to get the RTE made shows better available, in particular sports broadcasts, the news and special series (like that teens in the wild thing). I never get to see a full RTE series because I am never around at the same time each week to see them.

    Nice idea. Pity most of what RTE make is sh1te. Would be good for matches and the odd series though. Can't see them doing it as they get a lot of revenue from adverts between programs. Wouldn't put it past them to integrate the adds into the downloads though :)

    I wouldnt expect them to do anything other then put the same adverts on the downloads. Thats fair enough. I'd just like the flexibilty to watch RTE stuff when it suits me.
