At a scout training session in Dublin recently, one of the other leaders mentioned that they often make use of a community bus, which is a cheap bus hire made available to community projects, including the scouts. Apparently you can hire it through your local community Garda, but I've been unable to find any details of it…

Apparently you can hire it through your local community Garda, but I've been unable to find any details of it online. I'd prefer to make sure it's still running before I call.

Has anyone here heard of it, or used it? Is it completely free, or just subsidised? And has it been a victim of recent cutbacks and such?
