Is the Euro accepted in Newry? and if so by how many stores?

    By that I mean will most restaraunts or newsagents accept it? Or pharmacies? Should I bring Sterling?.

    They'll all accept it Filan. You may not get a great rate everywhere you go though. My advice would be to use a credit/debit card, this way you get the best rate available that day. Some stores may offer a €=£ which is obviously worth exploiting. Keep your eyes open and you'll do well!
