Looking for new LNB

    Hi,

I currently have a motorised system with a Stong 6355 and a Bush Freesat HD box hanging off a quad lnb.

The motorised part of it is a tad flakey (has ben since before the addition of the quad and freesat).

Currently I have to manually go out in the cold damp Irish spring to swing between satellites, not an ideal situation, but it does work.

I was wondering if there is such a thing as a dual or quad Monoblock LNB that would work for Astra 2 and Astra 1? Or am I better off going with multiple lnbs on a bracket?

Anyway, basically what I want is Astra 1 and 2 on both my Strong and Freesat box at the same time without havingt o go out in the nasty cold and damp weather!!!

Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    MJ

So your motor is not working?

    The motor works, just eratically.

If I ask it to go to Astra 1, Turksat, Hotbird or whatever, it could well go all the over as far as it can do to the east... the next time I ask it, it could work perfectly well. It is very erratic.

It could be the motor or it could be the Strong controlling it...

Monoblocks do not work as well as they might as we are in western Europe and they are optomised for places like Germany. I'd suggest you go with a multi lnb set up
