I put in for a P21 statement online, I'm pretty sure that I read it would be sent process within 4 working days, but it's been nearly 2 weeks now.

Anyone know the usual waiting time?

Online, it should only take four days. However it could take a few more days because of the time of the year. Not two weeks tho.
Did you check your address that revenue have for you online?
Were your pay and tax details on file for the year that you requested the p21?
Do you have any other income appart from PAYE income as if so you would not get a p21.

There are a few reasons that it may not issued. You could phone revenue either to find out. :)

Just checked the details there and they are correct.

When I requested the P21 for 2008 it asked me for some details from my P60, which I provided. No other income in 2008 bar the employment I had, I was abroad for most of the year though, if that makes a difference.

Guess I'll just have to call them on Monday.

Actually, I did receive some job seeker's benefits if that would delay things?

Yep, that could do it. Ring them Monday because if you requested the p21 and it failed it has jumped into another 'database'. Due to the number of items that need to be dealt in this 'database' it could take months!
So give them a shout and they will be able to sort it out for ya. :)

I put mine in for 2007 and 2008 on Thursday (5th March) and the money was in my account this morning!!
So maybe double check your inbox on PAYE online? They might have a query for you.
