    Hey i was thinking about doing this course next year. Has anybody done it before, if so can you give me an insight?? Is it difficult?? Do you enjoy it?? What do you learn?? How many hours do you need to put in??

    Just to clarify : Are you talking about
    • Msc Finance (which is in TCD)
    • MBS in Finance (which is in UCD)
    • MSc in Quantitative Finance (which is in UCD)

    Ok : the MBS in Finance and the MSc in Finance in TCD are the only two CFA programme partner courses in the country, so they are at their core broadly similar, FYI.

    GiftofGab, just wondering whats your background? is it in finance? im looking at them courses aswell just not sure which "flavour" course to go for. Each college seems to have their own kind of speacialism in finance

    I have a Bachalor in Agricultural Science but im doing a postgrad higher diploma in Business at the mo-they accept that as an entry. Can't find suitable job so i need to do a masters. Smurfit has the best rep for postgrad college so that would be my first choice. What's your background??

    im afraid i dont have as a diverse a background as you! im doing the accounting and finance degree in dcu and am going to specialise in finance so am just trying to get a bit of info on postgrads. plan ahead and all that!:P
