    Nice.

I thought the 156 had been discontinued though?

And I'd say it's been done 20 times on each car forum. I'd say that car has more publicity than any other, and still hasn't sold:p

ha ha ha, the must be extracting the urine!!
that will be €2000 to tax, and apparently the VRT

Yep we've done this one a good few times. Have to admit I didn't spot the VRT/VAT before. Was this there before in the ad?

€30k on Irish plates is a decent price. €60k is absurd.

it is an amazingly quick and loud machine though :D:D

That car has been basically in storage since 2003, its not even a great example of a GTA, no xenon and the smaller Brakes.

This car has been known about in Alfisti circles for a long time now, I actually called in to look at it nearly two years ago, I laughed in the Dealers face when I heard the price, I told him he would have it for a long time yet, so far I've been proven right.

Hold on, didn't they have that advertised at 49k a while ago ? And for that I thought it had been reg'd by last July, to beat the VRT changes?

Or have they de-reg'd it (yes, it can be done.......)

[edit] hold on, no VAT in the 29k either ?? Something wrong here.......[/edit]

I seem to remember that to.

In any case I can't see this moving anywhere too fast :P

It's still a monster of a car, the price is idiotic though.

the really funny thing about this though is the car isn't even the facelifted model :D

From the front it looks like a tacky 156 with a boyracer body kit also

The GTA never got the facelift. I was down that way today and noticed that Donohoes are no longer Alfa dealers, they're now FIAT and Mitsubishi dealers. I suppose it was only a matter of time when Motopoint Parkwest became Alfa dealers, just down the road from Donohoes.

Wow... is that really the same car that I saw, like, years ago?

    Nice car, insane price.

The dealer who ordered that car back in 2003 or there abouts probably invested heavily in eircom shares too. :p

Will be no easier to sell than Biffo and co's mini budget next month.

They should take a look at this and then rethink their price. While their example maybe technically "new / unused", it still couldn't be worth awhole lot more than a good 2nd hand one from England in the current climate.

There are several examples available on Pistonheads alone.

...it's actually worth less than a used one from the UK because, for the simple reason - at whatever price you but would it for, it attracts 2k p.a. road tax.

An imported one would be €500 less, per year, to tax, which means this example is doomed.

Actually, the only place it's worth anything is.........in the UK ! (no VRT )

I was thinking the same thing. They might have some hope if they advertise it on some uk sites. Does anyone know how long it has being sitting there?
