can a couple both claim the dole living together? we havent moved in together yet what way will that affect social welfare?

As far as I remember you are re-evaluated as a couple living together, dont forget to also apply for rent allowance, etc

You can get your Job seekers allows up to 12 months depending on your PRSI payments in the past but then it changes to a means tested payment which will be related to your needs. Hope this helps
